Billing and tariff
One tariff for the platform, three ways your fee is generated. This page explains what you set up once, what is billed when, and how to cancel.
Four things worth keeping apart
Monatlich, jederzeit kündbar. Ein Monat kostenfrei zum Testen.
Firmendaten, Rechnungsangaben und Zahlungsmittel — einmal eingerichtet.
GKV über Ihre Praxis, GoÄ für Privatversicherte, Selbstzahler über die Plattform.
Einnahmen aus Beratungen, Webinaren und Konferenzen gehen auf Ihr Bankkonto.
Trial period and choosing a tariff
You can try MEDITyme free of charge and without obligation for one month. After that you pick one of the expert tariffs. All tariffs run monthly and can be cancelled monthly; prices are exclusive of German VAT. Which tariff contains which features is listed in the tariff overview — the booking calendar with online booking is included in every tariff.
Under Settings → Tarif management you see your running contract with its start date, end date and the end of the trial period. An upgrade takes effect as soon as you confirm it; a downgrade only at the end of your current contract.
What you set up once
Four areas under Settings belong together. This order is the quickest:
- Billing account — registered company name, commercial register number and the details of the legal representative. The payment provider needs these to process payments.
- Data for invoicing — tax ID, VAT ID, VAT rate, registered office and the commercial register entry. Whatever you enter here is printed on your invoices.
- Address settings — your billing address.
- Credit cards — Visa and Mastercard are supported.
If something is missing, MEDITyme tells you before a paid process starts.
Identity check — no payout without it
As long as your account is not verified, no money can be paid out to you. The check runs via Verify identity; which documents you need depends on how you practise:
- As a private individual, a copy of a valid identity document is enough.
- As a self-employed person, freelancer or sole trader, proof of self-employment — a current tax assessment, a trade registration or a licence to practise medicine.
- As a company or partnership, the articles of association, a current commercial register extract and a UBO declaration.
Three things save you a rejection: every document except the ID must be no older than three months, all pages must be complete and clearly legible, and each file may be at most 7 MB (PDF, JPG, PNG or GIF). You then release the documents with Send for review.
Worth knowing for your own data protection assessment: uploaded documents are not stored by us and are not visible to us — they go straight to the payment provider. If you later change your invoicing data, the check has to be repeated.
Three ways your fee is generated
You decide which of them you use under Settings → Profile → Treatment options:
- Statutory health insurance (GKV) — billing runs through your practice as usual. MEDITyme supplies the record: the GKV Report under Calls, with the name, date, time and duration of every call, downloadable for any period you choose.
- Private patients (GoÄ) — you create the appointment type yourself and enter the GoÄ codes and the price there. Both are printed on the invoice exactly as you stored them. Nothing is calculated automatically — you stay in control of what you charge.
- Self-payers — here the money runs through the platform. You store a net end-customer price per appointment type and switch on online billing. Optionally you can grant free minutes at the start of a call.
Your invoices
Under Invoices you will find the invoices that were issued outwards through the platform — the billing for your chargeable consultations to patients and self-payers. The overview shows invoice number, date, type, status and gross amount; the download function fetches all invoices for a period at once.
Your tariff invoices are not held there. We send the subscription invoices for your tariff by e-mail to the address stored in your account.
Payout
Everything you earn from individual consultations, webinars or conferences is transferred to your bank account. Under Payout you store the account holder, IBAN and BIC, see the amount available for payout, the status and your last payout — and trigger the next one.
Changing and cancelling your tariff
Both run via info@medityme.com. All tariffs can be cancelled monthly. Send your cancellation to that address in writing; you will receive a confirmation.
What happens to your billing data
Billing data containing names is kept for three months and anonymised afterwards. How we handle your data in general is described on the security and data protection page.
