For practices, clinics and organisations
Several clinicians, shared staff, your own public presence, existing IT: when it is not one doctor using the video consultation but a whole organisation, a number of things change. Here is what becomes possible.
Consistent appointment types across the organisation
An organisation can create appointment types centrally and assign them to everyone. Duration, prices and procedures are then identical everywhere, and nobody has to set up the same appointment type twice. The three kinds of appointment type and how they differ are described under Appointments and calendar.
Assistant access for practice staff
Staff can use assistant access to work in a doctor's calendar: creating, moving and cancelling appointments. This access explicitly does not extend into the video consultation — only those intended to be there take part in the call. What that means for data protection is described under Security and data protection.
A page of your own
Your organisation gets its own page on MEDITyme: services, clinicians and bookable appointments in one place, ready to link from your website. Because the service stays technically embedded in MEDITyme, no separate certification as a video service provider is needed — ours applies.
Booking on your own website
Your own appointment types can also be made bookable outside MEDITyme, as a booking flow embedded in your website. Patients stay within your own presence.
Interfaces to practice and hospital information systems
The platform can be connected to an existing practice or hospital information system. That requires prior agreement: which data flows in which direction is defined per organisation. Beyond that, an API is available for building search, booking and call start into your own applications.
More than the consultation
Formats beyond the one-to-one have their own pages: group sessions and conferences, webinars and online seminars, and the medical call centre with a queue.
Your own platform in your own design
If MEDITyme as a brand does not fit because your organisation should appear under its own name: the same technology is available as a white-label platform on your domain and in your design. That runs through Tyme Group — talk to us about it.
